| I am a trained teacher [TPTC Burwood Teacher's College], hold a BA Music, Deakin University, and am a trained Therapeutic Harp Practitioner CTHP and a Clinical Bedside Musician CCM My main work is in the Aged Care sector. I am presently employed by 4 Aged Care Facilities in the outer Eastern Melbourne Area. I perform "Divertional Therapeutic Concerts" using Harp, flute, recorders ukulele and poetry reading I also play at the bedside for those who are ill, depressed or palliative. I spend time in the Dementia sections of the facilities where I am employed playing music that is familiar to the residents, helping to reconnect to past, familiar times. The harp also has been seen by the places where I work, to have a calming effect on the residents around sundowner's time . I am a full member of ATHA since March 2019.
