Anke is a music teacher.
Born in Delft Holland. Learned to play the piano at the age of six.
Played percussion in youth orchestra.
Later played in a consort.
Became a music and dance teacher for children with learning and behavioural difficulties.
Travelled to the Balkan Countries to learn their dances and music.
Migrated to Australia after she received her Bachelor of Arts degree.
Studied at the Phillip Institute music and drama.
Started her own business.
She plays in nursing homes and hospital.
She teaches the harp, gives concerts and plays for weddings and funerals.
Travels overseas to meet with other harpers and do courses.
